Having spent and enjoyed most of the 1980s working in Spain on the Costa Blanca area as a contracted representative for various tour agencies before returning to the UK, Eddie Harwood dreamed of one day returning to this wonderful polution free easy going part of the world to buy one of the beautiful villas in Spain that adorn the Costa Blanca coast around Calpe and Moraira and to enjoy the stress free life that goes with it, as soon as, and if , finances ever allowed. Having returned to the UK and eventually founding a small but successful telecommunications company eventually the dream became true, marriage to Sheryl, a child, Charlie, and some years later and with almost the finances to fulfill the dream, the family bought their first villa in Spain on the coast of Benissa between Moraira and Calpe, Villa Golondrina, for family holidays. They pushed the boat out a little financially so to speak and decided to rent out the Costa Blanca villa to holiday makers to make the mortgage payments and bills tally up. Having then totally refurbished Villa Golondrina to cater for the most discerning holiday villa renter with the advantage of knowing exactly what people want and indeed expect to have a great villa holiday, the property was marketed purely on the internet with an ameteur website 'www.morairavilla.net' . This was Eddie's first website project forced from a website design company letting him down at the last minute, yet , it exceeded their ambitions so much so that other owners of villas in Spain on the northern Costa Blanca began to ask for advice on how to market their own villas. The rest is history, The family decided to move full time to Spain and bought another Spanish villa to live in whilst continuing to rent Villa Golondrina, encouraged by the benefit of the climate on 6 year old Charlie's asthma and excezma. Eddie's next web project was brought to the internet, www.villasandpools.com. a small but caring company able to manage and care for each property and see to their customers needs personally. Eddie and Sheryl vet each property and decide wether it is good enough for their clients, the company policy is to provide quality Spanish villas, services and facilities, after all, they want you to come back!!! Eddie and Sheryl also advise on legal issues on Spanish villa sales in the area and run a successful maintainance and small property improvement company. Although now settled on the Costa Blanca in Spain, Eddie and Sheryls UK telecoms company still thrives under their management via telephone and internet and Charlie is much better off for the change in climate, still got asthma but no more nights in a UK hospital with nebulisers and steroids, and by the way, the exzesma has disappeared and he visits the beach most days after school even in the winter, what a life!!! We were all very impressed with this villa and wish we could have had a full two weeks to enjoy it and the surrounding Costa Blanca area more. We really appreciated everything, too much to list it all, but a special mention for the quality of the sunbeds, the towels and the fantastically equipped downstairs Kitchen and BBQ. It is the little things that really do go a long way and having booked a villa for our second week direct with the owner, we will be very reluctant to do this again, so I will hope to be using you again and will be recommending your Company to anyone else thinking of renting a villa.
